Theresa Poalucci is the perfect example of a practicing a hobby that took on a life of its own. After a 40-plus career as a graphic artist, writer, and newspaper publisher, she retired to Tucson and started to study sculpture. She also had time to paint, acrylics being her favorite medium. Many years later she is both painting and creating something she calls “Patio Jewels” which incorporates her sculpting. She is currently represented at four local galleries  Absolutely Art Gallery and Gifts, Southern Arizona Arts Guild, Art Centro, and the K. Newby Gallery. She also teaches both alcohol inks and acrylic pours to adult students.
