My art finds itself looking for new ways. I am willing to take risks and paint without expecting favor from those who speak so freely. When you start dreaming about colors on canvas, your ideas, imagination and symbols go straight through the hands to approving eyes.
From 2008 through 2011 I was a student in the school of Fine Arts at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. I studied under Ye Wang PhD. I was selected twice to display my mono printing foils of copper, gold, and silver. My favorite foil piece is entitled “Silver Pursuit;” displayed at the Mulvane Art Museum. Since 2008 I have been an active member of the Topeka Art Guild in Topeka, Kansas where I have sold many works of art. I was a featured Topeka artist of the month in 2010.
