Vivian Sathre
Vivian Sathre wrote children's books for over fifteen years before laying down her pen to take a giant leap into the world of watercolor classes, paints and brushes. It was a good leap. Vivian rises early each morning, eager to get to her easel. Although her subject matter varies widely, Vivian's paintings are recognizable by her style of combining rich color with a highly sunlit subject matter.
Vivian has won numerous awards for her artwork in watercolor, acrylic and pastel. Her paintings have hung in galleries in both Washington and Oregon and in public buildings.
