Eileen Sedgwick
I grew
up in
Wales, raised two children, had a technical career with 3M
Company, and led a full life of sport (tennis, squash, table-tennis, field
hockey and netball). My current
interests are oil painting, gourmet cooking, and flower arranging.
My
husband and I lived in
Brussels,
Belgium for nearly six years prior to moving to
Minnesota in 1981. We
relocated to SaddleBrooke early 1999.
I immediately joined the Tennis Club and later the Fine Arts Club.
My initiation in oil painting was in Wanda Tucker’s class, January
2000 and I have studied under her for nine years.
She has provided invaluable help to me as I had no prior painting or
drawing experience. To date, I
have painted 40 pictures and have sold several original works and giclées.
