Guidelines for Gallery of
Petite Art
March 31 & April 1, 2012
The Gallery of
Petite Art will be held in the Cholla room (and the Cactus Room if needed)
with the same hours as the Main show, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and
Sunday.
This year, we will accept artists for The Gallery
of Petite Art who are not participating in the Ballroom show with
only a $20 fee to show your work. The 6% commission rate still applies
to any works sold in the Gallery. The $20 fee does NOT apply to
artists who have paid for a space in the main show.
Artist’s works for The Gallery of Petite Art
must be 13”x16” (outside dimensions of frame) or
smaller. No pieces larger than these measurements will be
accepted. No card racks will be in The Gallery of Petite Art this
year.
Print racks from Ballroom-showing artists may be
accepted if there is room in the Gallery; otherwise, print racks will be
with the artist in the Ballroom. However, if you do not have a
Ballroom space, we will accept your print rack as your display in the
Gallery, but all prints must meet the same measurement criteria.
If you are participating only in The Gallery
of Petite Art and not in the Ballroom, you are expected to volunteer for a
2-hour shift in The Gallery of Petite Art.
The Gallery of Petite Art will have table spaces
available for showing your small framed art work. You must provide
table top easels for display purposes. There will be one tower for
hanging pieces. Additional racks for hanging may be available but ONLY
if there are enough racks left over from putting together the rest of the
show; therefore, we cannot guarantee rack hanging space in the The Gallery
of Petite Art at this time.
